(NewsDakota.com) Over the past year, USDA Rural Development has financed 0 million in important infrastructure projects in every corner of North Dakota.

USDA’s Rural Development North Dakota State Director Jasper Schneider and others representing the agency made a stop at the Angry Beaver Lodge in Oakes on Tuesday morning presenting to the public ideas and asking for suggestions as to what the future of the state should become when it comes to rural communities.

The initiative, “North Dakota 2.0” is visiting various towns throughout the state through the end of February, and the program’s main areas of focus are on community facilities, broadband internet, renewable energy, rural housing, water and environmental improvements, as well as economic development in rural areas.
