(NewsDakota.com) – A Mandan man involved in a police chase and armed standoff Nov. 9 in downtown Jamestown is serving a sentence of one year and one day at the North Dakota State Penitentiary.

30-year-old Jeremy Lee Blum pleaded guilty Jan. 10 in Stutsman County to two Class C felony charges of reckless endangerment and felon in possession of a firearm. He also pleaded guilty to four misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) by a driver; fleeing or attempting to elude police; and unlawful use of license.

Stutsman County assistant state’s attorney Ashley Heitkamp says Blum is serving his time at the North Dakota State Penitentiary. After his time there, Heitkamp says he will likely be transferred to South Dakota, where he is wanted in connection with theft and burglary charges.

Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado also have warrants out for Blum, who was arrested Nov. 9 after a two-hour incident that authorities say started with a car chase and ended with an armed standoff in downtown Jamestown.
