(NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington High School wrestling team captured the Region 2 Dual Championship on Saturday.

Carrington entered the tournament as the top seed and rolled to the region title, racking up an 81-0 win the first round, a 52-26 win the semifinals, and a 47-28 victory over North Border in the region championship match.

North Border finished second, and both Carrington and North Border advance to the State Dual Tournament on Feb. 16-17 at the Bismarck Civic Center.

Central Cass was third and Hillsboro fourth at the Region 2 Tournament.
