FORKS, N.D. (AP) – The student body president at the
University of North Dakota says students are getting tired of the
fight over the school’s Fighting Sioux nickname. Kylie Overson says
students on both sides of the issue are frustrated. UND went back
to using the nickname that the NCAA says is offensive.
     
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – Two Underwood brothers are face drug
charges after authorities say they were selling drugs near a school
and also accepted stolen property as payment. Andrew and Michael
Fee are each being held on $10,000 bond.
     
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A water project in North Dakota is getting
$11 million from the federal government. The Garrison Diversion
project will provide a new water storage reservoir for the Spirit
Lake tribe and replace poor-quality wells in Logan and McIntosh
counties.
     
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – Administrators at the University of
North Dakota says there’s record enrollment this spring. Nearly
14,000 students were enrolled during the spring semester. That’s up
3.7 percent from last year’s record.
