CITY (NewsDakota.com)–The Jamestown Blue Jay girls hockey team ran their record-breaking season to 11 wins with a 4-0 shutout over Devils Lake Tuesday night at Wilson Arena in Jamestown.

 

Amber Schaack scored the hat trick in the win, and Carissa Finck stopped 21 shots for the Blue Jays, who earned their 11th win of the season, extending their record for wins in a season. They broke the former record Friday night with a win over Dickinson.

 

Jamestown started hot, with Steph Kamlitz and Schaack scoring in the first three minutes and change. Schaack then scored with 7.7 seconds left of the second period, and capped the scoring midway through the third.

 

The Blue Jays are now 11-10-1, and host West Fargo Friday night at Wilson Arena in Jamestown.
