(NewsDakota.com) – The 2012 Sport and Recreation Show runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Jamestown Civic Center.

The show includes displays by about 35 different organizations or businesses, along with door prizes, samples and demos. Boats, campers, pontoons, golf carts and fish houses will all be on display, and admission to the event is free.

There is also events for the kids as well, with Raptor Shows on Saturday and Sunday put on by the Black Hills Raptor Center. A number of different birds will be featured during the Raptor Shows, which include models or displays for kids to touch and also live interaction with the birds. Shows are Saturday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.

On Friday night, the Jamestown Optimist Club is holding a Spaghetti Feed at the Civic Center from 5 to 7 p.m. in conjunction with the Sport and Recreation Show.

Hours for the Sport and Recreation Show are 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
