(NewsDakota.com)- The finale of the 2011-12 regular season for the Blue Jay basketball teams will take place tonight on the road at Bismarck St. Mary’s.
It will be the second meeting of the two schools, who met back on January 17th. That night the Blue Jays sent the Saints back to Bismarck without a victory but the task will get tougher tonight on the road.
The Jamestown girls have gone 3-3 over their last six games and will be the No. 5-seed in the WDA Tournament that will take place next weekend (March 1, 2, 3). They beat St. Mary’s the first time 60-56.
The boys on other hand have struggled as of late, losing 7 of their last 8. They have fallen all the way to seventh in the WDA and will most likely be the No. 7-seed in the WDA.
They defeated St. Mary’s back in January amid their seven-game winning streak, 82-74.
The girls will tip-off tonight at 6pm and the boys will follow. You can catch all the action on Classic Hits KQDJ 1400AM/97.1FM.
