Minn. (AP) – A Minnesota family says four women who
died yesterday during an interstate crash were college roommates
heading back to North Dakota State University. Heavy snow, fog,
strong winds and temperatures hovering around freezing made travel
difficult yesterday, but investigators still aren’t sure if weather
was a factor in the accident.
DOUGLAS, N.D. (AP) – Authorities have released the name of a
42-year-old Sawyer man who died during a weekend rollover in
northwestern North Dakota’s Ward County. Daniel Olson was killed
early Sunday morning when he lost control of his pickup as it
travelled over a railroad crossing and rolled in a ditch.
WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) – Some Williston residents are asking the
city to impose stiffer penalties on litterbugs. People who dump
garbage on city street can be fined $100 under the current city
ordinance, but some residents say that’s not enough.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota wildlife officials say
they’ve finalized fishing regulations for the next two years.
Anglers will be required to have new licenses starting April 1st.
One notable change is an increase in the northern pike daily limit
from three fish to five and the pike possession limit from six fish
to 10.
