(NewsDakota.com) – A spring weather system is impacting the region Tuesday, bringing strong winds and possible thunderstorms.

Much of North Dakota is in a high wind warning Tuesday, with steady winds of near 40 miles per hour possible and gusts up to 60 miles per hour.  A high wind warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or is occurring. The NWS says sustained winds of at least 40 miles per hour and/or gusts of 58 miles per hour or higher can lead to property damage.
