The Tribal Council will hold a hearing tomorrow in the misconduct and neglect-of-office case. Meanwhile, a group calling itself Active Citizens for Tribal Truth will hold a march tomorrow to support Murphy.
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) – A funeral will be held on Friday for an eastern Montana high school teacher who was kidnapped, killed and buried in North Dakota. Sherry Arnold’s funeral will be held at a high school gym. The 43-year-old’s remains were found last week near Williston.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) – This May’s Fargo marathon will snake into neighboring Moorhead, Minnesota. The original 26.2-mile route was set to stay entirely in North Dakota, but race organizers decided to add a segment in Minnesota because of a lack of spring flooding.
WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) – The former Elks Lodge in Williston is being renovated into a boutique hotel that’s set to open this summer. The revamped facility will cater to traveling executives. It’ll feature eight luxury rooms with full kitchens. The hotel also will have a bar and a steak-and-seafood restaurant.
