(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School track and field teams competed at the “Easter Bunny” Meet in Lisbon on Monday; the boys finished third, and the girls fourth.

The girls earned 71 points. Lisbon won the meet with 208 points, followed by FSHP (85), Edgeley-Kulm (80), Oakes, Fargo Davies (41) and Zeeland (15).

Britta Skjefte, Madison Quandt and Shelby Gelinske took first, second and third respectively in the long jump. Megan Cunningham finished second in the triple jump, and Coley Warren was third in the javelin.

The boys finished with a team total of 64 points. Lisbon took first with 319 points, followed by Davies (75), Oakes, Fargo South (51), FSHP (32), Edgeley-Kulm (18) and Zeeland (8).

Blake Hollingsworth won the 100 and 200 meter dash, Austin Brandreit was third in the 800 meter run, and Keaton Peterson was third in the javelin.  As a team the Tornado boys finished second in the 4 x 200 meter relay.
