(NewsDakota.com) U.S. Democratic House Candidate Pam Gulleson was in Carrington on Wednesday to push for her “Building the Future Tour.”
Gulleson joined community and agricultural leaders and Carrington Mayor Don Frye at an Agriculture and Jobs Roundtable at the NDSU Extension Research Center north of Carrington.
Gulleson said, “As a farmer and rancher, I understand the unique challenges facing North Dakota’s producers, and the importance of passing a Farm Bill this year.”
Gulleson also made stops at the Health Center, a school, the Senior Center, and at a meeting of the Kiwanis in Carrington.
Gulleson is the Democratic candidate for North Dakota’s lone U-S House seat. She’ll face either Republican endorsed candidate Public Service Commissioner Brian Kalk or fellow Republican P-S-C Commissioner Kevin Cramer in the November general election. Cramer is challenging Brian Kalk in the June 12 North Dakota statewide primary election.
