(NewsDakota.com) The first two members of the Oakes High School Track and Field teams have qualified for the State Class B Meet in Bismarck.

Keaton Peterson and Blake Hollingsworth each qualified for state during the Kindred meet this week. Peterson has earned a spot in the javelin with a throw of 160 feet 8 inches, while Hollingworth has qualified for the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.2 seconds.

The State Class A and B Track Meet is at the Bismarck Community Bowl on May 25 and 26.
