N.D. (AP) – A judge says he won’t move the murder trial of a Jamestown man from Stutsman County. Leron Howard has pleaded not guilty to murder and criminal conspiracy for last April’s death of a Somali immigrant. One person has already been convicted in the case.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A driver was taken to the hospital early this morning after crashing a car into a house in Fargo. Homeowner Truman Olson says the car smashed through his living room around 1:30 a.m.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A delegation from North Dakota is traveling to Rhode Island this week for a keel-laying ceremony for the nuclear submarine being named for the state. The ceremony for the USS North Dakota will be held on Friday. The $2.6 billion submarine is expected to be commissioned in 2014.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – The North Dakota Game and Fish Department says it’s paid nearly $485,000 to counties on land it owns or leases. That’s up about $20,000 from the previous year. The payments are in lieu of property taxes.
