(NewsDakota.com)- The Blue Jay baseball team put a pair of WDA defeats behind them and took down Bismarck High for the second time this season. Head Coach Cory Anderson and the Jays are no stranger to extra innings and they needed extra time to beat Bismarck 4-2, in 9 innings.

They also won the second game 6-0, behind a brilliant outing by Joey Gebhardt who allowed just one hit.

Brady Anderson was 4-4 in the first game with 9 total bases, a pair of triples and a double. He drove in the games first run in the top of the 1st with a triple.

After loading the bases in the 9th, the Jays scored via a walk and a squeeze play. Danny Fischer sent the Demons back to the dugout in order to finish off the inning.

Jamestown is now 18-10 on the season and 6-6 in the west region. They will host the Century Patriots on Thursday. 4:30pm first pitch from Jack Brown Stadium.
