service for Melvin Robert Teske, 70, of Berlin will be 10:00 am, Monday, June 4, 2012 at Edgeley Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Edgeley, ND.  The Rev. Bob Forbes will officiate.    

Burial will be in Berlin Cemetery.    

Visitation will be Sunday from noon to 3 pm at the funeral home.   

Melvin died Sunday, May 28, 2012 at his home. 

Melvin Robert, son of Robert and Ella (Rattei) Teske was born December 11, 1941 in Ellendale, ND.  He was raised on the family homestead near Monango, ND and attended public school.  He worked on the family farm.

He was united in marriage to Linda Martel on June 12, 1971 in Zion Lutheran Church in Ashley, ND.  He worked as a farm hand near the Monango area and later as a truck driver working for several companies traveling all over the country.  Most recently with Midnight Express based out of Fargo, retiring in 2003.

Melvin enjoyed fixing up old vehicles, watching old western movies and drawing pictures was always relaxing for him. 

Melvin was a member of Edgeley Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Surviving Melvin is his wife, Linda, one son, John (Tara) Teske of West Fargo, ND, one brother, Curtis (Kim) Teske of Nampa, ID, one sister, Louise Williams of Bismarck, ND and six nieces and nephews. 

His parents and one brother, Dean preceded him in death.

Honorary Casketbearers will be all of the men from Edgeley Seventh-Day Adventist Church. 

Casketbearers will be Trenton Teske, Trevor Teske, Lonnie Lacina, Lester Rattei, Jerry Thom and David Weigel. 

The organist will be Joan Toay and the soloist is Warren Toay.
