N.D. (AP) – The couple who led the Salvation Army in Minot during the historic 2011 Souris River flooding are leaving for a new assignment in Green Bay, Wis. Majs. Donald and Jane Kincaid says that the assignment is a promotion and a compliment from the organization, but they wish they could stay in Minot. Jane Kincaid says, “Our hearts are here.” She says there is a lot of unfinished work in the aftermath of last summer’s flooding, and the couple wants to be a part of the restoration. The Kincaids came to Minot in 2008. They will be replaced by a Capts. Timothy and Teri Nauta, who are coming from Canton, Ill.
