CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–While the 2012 high school football season closes in, several area players that graduated this spring will play their next game in July.

The North Dakota Shrine Bowl, the state’s high school all-star games, will be played July 14th at Fargo Shanley High School.  Again this year, the state is divided among east and west teams, with an 11-man game and a 9-man game to be played.

Oakes, LaMoure, and Napoleon lead the way among area teams with representation at the game.  Four Tornadoes, Taner Zetocha, Victor Cordova, C.J. Voegeli, and Ben Ketterling, have been chosen for the 11-man game on the east roster.

The Loboes and Imperials each have three players on 9-man east.  Casey Sailer, Zach Stemen, and Tyler Thielges will represent LaMoure, and Jon Widmer, Wade Rath-Wald, and Jonah Schwartzenberger will represent Napoleon.

Jamestown, Maple Valley-Enderlin,  and Edgeley-Kulm each have two selections.  The Blue Jays send Aaron Michel and Nathan Ellingson to 11-man west.  The Falcons will send Ethan Preston and Ty Smith to 11-man east, and the Rebels send Jamison Jangula and Nathan Elhard to 9-man east.

Other players in the 11-man game include Tucker Nordby from Harvey-Well County, Josh Magnuson from Valley City, Josh Hansana from North Sargent, Hunter Mairs from Lisbon, all east selections, and Julio Ybarra of Carrington for the west team.

Other 9-man players include Andrew Jochim of South Border, Chance Kurle of Strasburg, and Justin Arp of Sargent Central.
