CITY, S.D. (AP) – A Rapid City woman had to be rescued after falling at the cliff at Falling Rock in triple-digit temperatures. Authorities say the 18-year-old woman fell about 20 feet on Tuesday and injured her knee. She was unable to climb out of the canyon and became dehydrated. Paramedics got some fluids into her before using a basket to lift her out. The woman was taken to a hospital to be checked. A family member said she was OK. Authorities did not say what the woman was doing at the site west of Rapid City that is popular with climbers.
