N.D. (AP) – The Supreme Court’s pending decision on the federal health care reform law could have implications for North Dakota’s community health centers. Community Health Care Association of the Dakotas’ spokeswoman Stacie Fredenburg says a rejection of the Affordable Care Act could jeopardize funding for North Dakota’s 15 centers, and three others that are planned might not be built. Fredenburg says more than 32,000 patients sought care at the clinics in North Dakota last year. That’s up from about 26,000 in 2008. About 13 percent of North Dakotans had no health insurance in 2010.
