CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Valley City Post 60 American Legion baseball team will play four games in four days before taking a few days off for the Independence Day holiday next week.

The run starts tonight in Lidgerwood, where Post 60 plays games in league play.  Lidgerwood is also the locale for this year’s Sectional Tournament, which will send a team on to the state tournament in August.

Friday through Sunday, Valley City will play daily in the Leevers Classic tournament, starting with Grafton in the opening round Friday night at 7:00 p.m.  Tournament play continues through Sunday. 

Post 60 will have Monday through Wednesday off for the holiday, then get back in action next week hosting Lidgerwood.
