(NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man involved in a head-on crash that killed four people July 6 had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit, according to a release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
28-year-old Wyatt Klein, of Jamestown, was one of four people killed when his pickup collided head-on with a West Fargo family’s car. Authorities say Klein was heading east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 94 prior to the crash about 33 miles west of Jamestown.
A blood sample was sent to the North Dakota Attorney General’s Crime Laboratory, which told the Highway Patrol that Klein had a blood alcohol level of 0.25, more than three times the legal limit of 0.08.
The crash also killed 34-year-old Aaron Deutscher (Doy-cher) of West Fargo, his 36-year-old wife Allison and their 18-month-old daughter Brielle.
