CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)  North Dakota’s first Boy Scout encampment took place 100 years ago this summer in Valley City.

More than 100 Boy Scouts will participate in a second encampment Friday and Saturday in Chautauqua Park.

Valley City local Scout Master Fred Mitzel says a lot has changed in scouting over the last 100 years.
