CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) Jara Opatz won her first race but not her second in the (Super Stock Division) of the International Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio on Saturday.

Christina Sayler in the (Stock Division) lost in her first race. The two Valley City natives raced in the 75th annual Soap Box on Saturday.

Nathan Sayler says it was an exciting time for the kids and parents as they got their derby cars ready for the big run. Good job Jara and Christina!
