(NewsDakota.com) After a week away from action against another squad on the court, the Oakes High School volleyball team will suit up for their second District 1 contest of the season; their first on the road as they take on the Lisbon Broncos.

Oakes is 2-1 this season and 1-0 in District 1 play. The Tornadoes started the season back on August 25th, and lost three games to one to the Kindred Vikings. The following Tuesday, Oakes hit the road and took down Richland County three games to one, and last played a week ago at home; earning their district win against Hankinson three games to none.

As for the Broncos, they have started the season away from home and are 0-3 with a three games to none loss to LaMoure back on August 28th, a loss in five games to Milnor on the 30th, and another five game loss to Enderlin this past Tuesday. 

Coverage on KDDR 1220 AM/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com with Bruce Junker starts Thursday night from Lisbon around 7:15, and first server of game one of the match is set for around 7:30.
