(NewsDakota.com) The Carrington H.S. School Board on Tuesday night (Oct. 9th) approved a new digital sign to be installed on the West Side wall right by the Carrington High School sign. (see picture below)
The cost of the sign will be just under $26,000, about $10,000 will be given by Bremer Bank, it will feature a Daktronic electronic message center. The School Board decided to go with the higher quality sign because of its better quality and longevity. Manufacturing and installing will be done by Indigo Signworks of Bismarck.
The School Board also approved repairing and painting the Carrington High School sign on the west side of the school right where the new digital sign will be. Carrington Elementary will get a new sign as well.
