(NewsDakota.com) In Class AA West football action last night (Oct. 12th), the Beulah Minors defeated the Carrington Cardinals 22-19 on parents night. Carrington drops to 4-3-1 overall, 3-3 in the League. Beulah improves to 7-1 overall, 5-1 in the League, the only loss for the Minors this year is to Minot Ryan last Friday night.
Both teams scored in the first quarter, Cole Hendrickson took it in from one yard out making it 6-0 Cards. Then Karson Hintz for the Minors scored making it 6-6 at the end of the first half.
In the third quarter, Casey Murphy for Carrington ran it in from one yard out putting the Cards ahead 13-6 at the end of three.
But the Minors came out strong in the fourth quarter and scored two touchdowns. The Cards would get another touchdown in the fourth as well, Hendrickson would take it one yard again for his second touchdown of the game. Two-point conversions would be the difference in the game. Beulah successfully went for two on both of their fourth quarter touchdowns, one of the touchdowns came with only 22 seconds left in the game, and ended up winning 22-19. Carrington completed only one extra point.
The Cards had 311 yards in total offense, Casey Murphy had 150 yards rushing.

The Cards are 3-0 on the road this year.
