CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Seven people have been selected for interviews seeking the position of Barnes County Auditor.

Barnes County Commissioner Phil Leitner says the interviews will be held October 24 and a selection recommendation will be submitted to the board of commissioners November 6 with a final selection announced in late November.

Teresa Garrahy Oriska, Business manager for Young People’s Healthy Heart Program, Cheryl Sorby Valley City, former owner of Rusty Spur Cafe, Gary Jacobson Fargo, Accountant for Northstar Technology Group, Beth Didier Spiritwood, USDA Rural Development Loan Specialist, Joe Sykora Valley City, Former business manager West Fargo Public Schools, Jerry Cavanaugh Fort Totten, Former executive director for the Spirit Lake Community Development Corporation and Barnes County Interim Auditor Julie Mindt.

Mindt has been the Interim Auditor after Ed McGough resigned for health reasons earlier this year.
