(NewsDakota.com) The 2012 North Dakota Class B District 1 Volleyball Tournament is set for October 25, 26 and 29th.

First round play on Thursday the 25th will feature four games, all at 7 p.m. and all played at the top four seeds. #1 Oakes will host #8 F-C-T, #2 Milnor welcomes #7 Hankinson, #3 North Sargent plays #6 Wyndmere/Lidgerwood in Gwinner, and #4 Lisbon plays at home against #5 Sargent Central.

Friday and Monday’s matches will be played at Oakes High School, starting with loser-out play of the double-elimination tournament Friday at 3. Monday’s matches start at 4:30, and the four teams left standing will advance to the Region I tournament, also in Oakes.

KDDR 1220 AM/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com will cover all Oakes games, starting with the Thursday evening contest against FCT.
