CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Construction work wrapped up Thursday on a 100 yard stretch of hill under Barnes County Road 21 some 12 miles north of Valley City.

Barnes County Highway Department Superintendent Kerry Johnson said the contractor, Strata Corporation will face liquidated damages after the October 20 deadline wasn’t met due to the construction delay.
