(NewsDakota.com) All four teams who hosted Round 1 games of the 2012 District 1 Volleyball Tournament earned victories on Thursday night.

The number one seed Oakes Tornadoes had little difficulty with the #8 seed F-C-T, winning in a three game sweep by scores of 25-6, 25-20 and 25-21.

In other action Thursday night, Milnor took down Hankinson in four games; 25-21, 21-25, 25-21, 25-22. North Sargent was a winner over Wyndmere/Lidgerwood in three games; 25-8, 25-15 and 25-17, and Lisbon won in four games against Sargent Central; 19-25, 25-15, 25-19 and 25-19.

Rounds two and three move to Oakes on Friday and Monday respectively. Loser out play starts at 3 p.m. Friday with F-C-T and Hankinson followed by Wyndmere/Lidgerwood and Sargent Central. The semi-finals commence around 6 p.m. with Oakes and Milnor and North Sargent and Lisbon to end the evening.
