(NewsDakota.com) The Carrington Cardinal Volleyball team will play for the championship in District 7 against No. 1 seed Midkota on Monday, October 29th.  The Cards beat No. 6 seed Harvey/Wells County and upset No. 2 seed Benson County to get to the championship.

The first match for No. 3 seed Carrington was Harvey/Wells County.  The Cards beat them 3-1(25-15, 25-27, 25-23, 25-16).  Carrington served 91% with 48 kills.  Madison Wendel had 16 kills.  Carrington had 12 serving aces total, Hanna Lipetzky had 4.  

The second match on Friday, Oct. 26th, Carrington upset No. 2 seed Benson County 3-1(25-12, 19-25, 25-23, 27-25).  The Cards had nine service aces total, three for Josey Page.  44 kills total, 15 for Kayla Hochhalter and 10 for Madison Wendel.
