CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liners are on the road for the first round of the Division AA playoffs Saturday.

Valley City makes the long road trip to Minot Bishop Ryan for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff Saturday. Valley City enters the game with a 4-3 record and is the No. 4 seed from the East. Minot Bishop Ryan is 7-2 and ranked No. 5 in the state. The Lions are the top seed from the West Region.

Valley City head coach Scott Roehrich says they are extremely athletic and will use a balanced offense.


Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. at Herb Parker Stadium on the campus of Minot State. Pregame coverage will begin just after 4 p.m. on Q101.1.
