N.D. (NewsDakota.com) North Dakota’s U.S. Senate race is tight and former President Bill Clinton pumped up the party faithful to support North Dakota Democratic senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp at a rally Monday night in Fargo.

Clinton told the crowd of 3-thousand at the Civic Center that Heitkamp would be a strong leader if elected to the senate. Clinton took aim at Republican Rick Berg for the failure of the U-S House to pass a farm bill.

Heitkamp is in a tight race against her Republican opponent North Dakota Congressman Rick Berg.
