N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and Fargo Police Department, will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on November 1st in Cass County.
North Dakota continues to experience the tragic loss of life due to impaired driving. Between 2011 and 2012, 133 people have lost their lives on North Dakota roadways in alcohol related crashes. In the Southeast Region of North Dakota, 25 people have lost their lives during the same time period from alcohol related crashes.
Following the checkpoint, officers will saturate the area in an effort to remove impaired drivers from the roadway.
