N.D. (NewsDakota.com) North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem issued Cease & Desist orders against 3 unlicensed contractors for violations of North Dakota’s consumer fraud laws.

Alex Sweeney and Lou Cueto of Aqua Dry Restoration, Denis J. Lee, doing business as Ashley Home Exteriors and Todd A. Copenhaver, of KRC Steel Works LLC and KRC Steel Erectors are all banned from conducting business in North Dakota.

According to Stenehjem, the Consumer Protection Division initiated an investigation after receiving complaints from consumers that work they had paid for in advance had not been completed. The investigation showed that none of the individuals has a contractor’s license required by law.
