CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The 29th Annual Buck Show put on by the Barnes County Wildlife Federation will be held Monday, Nov. 26 at the Valley City Eagles Club.

The annual Buck Show scores the antlers of many of the biggest bucks taken in the area during the rifle hunting season. To enter your deer in the Buck Show, you must be a resident of Barnes County or be a member of the Barnes County Wildlife Club.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with registration and chili. Entries into the Buck Show will be accepted until 7:30 p.m. Entrants are asked to bring their deer heads in the basement door on the west side of The Eagles Club. There will also be a gun board and meat raffles during the event.

If you would just like your deer scored and are not a resident of Barnes County or a club member, you can bring it in and the officials will score it for you. If a buck has been shot by bow, officials will score it for you but it is not eligible to be entered in the show.
