CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) John Deere will be making a million investment to expand the manufacturing plant in Valley City. Valley City plant manager David Bradford says John Deere added a tillage equipment production line, and he says the company plans to add another 55 to 100 jobs once construction of the expansion is completed next year.

Bradford says groundbreaking for the $20 million building expansion is set for November 27 just east of the current plant along Interstate 94 in Valley City.
A portion of the revenue will come from the 1 percent Valley City sales tax use for economic development, property tax relief and image enhancement.
