CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) It’s been another long campaign but only a few more hours remain before people go to the polls and cast their ballots for their favorite candidates.

Republican U-S Senate candidate Rick Berg told the party faithful that deficit spending is out of control at the federal level as the government spends $10 billion dollars a day and only takes in $ 4 Billion.

Berg said if elected to the U-S Senate he’ll bring his North Dakota values and common sense to help reduce the federal deficit and eliminate Obama Care.

Governor Jack Dalrymple said the thousands of people he has talked to across the state believe he and his team are moving in the right direction dealing with infrastructure and other challenges in the state especially those in the western oil patch of North Dakota.

Lt. Governor Drew Wrigley said due to the leadership of Governor Dalrymple and Congressman Rick Berg the state will continue move forward in a positive direction.

The Republican candidate addressed a nice crowd at the District 24 Republican Headquarters in Valley City on Friday.

The Republican candidates will visit a number of central and western North Dakota cities this weekend before heading back to visit other cities in the eastern half of the state on Monday.
