CITY (NewsDakota.com) – Playoff football resumes this weekend with semifinal action as teams are one win away from playing for a state championship in the Alerus Center.

The Valley City Hi-liners are one of those teams after defeating Minot Bishop Ryan 24-14 last week. Valley City is on the road again this week, going to Grafton for a rematch of their regular season finale. Grafton won that game 20-12, and Valley City head coach Scott Roehrich says they’ve identified some areas they need to improve on from that game.

The Hi-Liner defense will be focusing on Grafton quarterback Christian Lunde, who ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in the first meeting between the two teams.

Game time is 2 p.m. Saturday. Pregame coverage will begin about 1:30 p.m. on Q101.1.
