LAKE (NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals Volleyball team was in action last night (Nov. 6th) against Benson County for the semifinal round of the Region 4 girls volleyball tourney.  Carrington beat Benson County 3-1 (25-16, 29-27, 20-25, 25-23).  The Cards improve to 31-7 overall. 

Carrington had 62 kills total, 23 by Madison Wendel and 19 by Kayla Hochhalter.  Madison Wendel also led the way with six stuff blocks.  Josey Page had three aces, Carrington had seven aces total. 

Josey Page had 26 assists and Nikki Braaten had 25 assists.  The Cards served 94%.

Carrington trailed 21-13 in the second set, but came back to win it 29-27.

Next up for Carrington is the Region 4 Championship game against Langdon Area (31-9), tomorrow night (Nov. 8th).  That game will be heard on AM 1600 KDAK in Carrington and newsdakota.com around 7:15p.

Langdon Area defeated Rolla in the other semifinal 3-0 last night.
