Carol Ann, the daughter of Eugene Laducer and Larose Baker, was born October 19, 1950 in Belcourt, ND. Carol grew up and attended school in the Belcourt area. On March 27, 1976 she married Ronald LaRoque at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Belcourt. The couple lived in the Belcourt area for a time and later moved to the Grand Forks area. They later moved to Fargo and in 1994 moved to their farm near Fingal, ND. Carol was a very active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fingal, ND. Carol enjoyed beadwork, sewing, baking, fishing and was especially fond of playing with her grandchildren. Carol was a very kind-hearted woman who always put the needs of others before her own.
Mom loved us from our first breath, held our hands through the years, guided us along paths that our lives took, thought that there is nothing we can’t make it through, to hold our faith, and to follow our hearts. She gave us her all, and asked nothing in return.
She gave us all the stepping stones in life to become the people we are today, and through it all, she stood proud of us all. Her family (husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren) meant everything to her.
It will be hard on us to let her go physically, but we carry her on with us each and every day in our hearts and our thoughts. The sun rising will remind us of her love for life. Our trials and tribulations will remind us how strong willed she was. There’s a part of her in each and every person that hears or reads this and we can all be honored that she was a part of our lives.
We will always love you mom, wife, daughter and grandmother. We will carry you with us each day in our hearts.
We will mourn our loss, but will rejoice that you are in a better place, sitting with your loved ones, awaiting our arrival one day.
