(NewsDakota.com)- Coach Brad Schaack’s team just keeps finding ways to win. They did it again on Saturday night when the defeated the Grand Forks Knightriders. Brenna Pritchert’s overtime goal just 22 seconds into the extra session won it for the Jays, 6-5.

Jamestown trailed 5-3 after two periods and Amber Schaack had already netted two goals, including her 100th career goal. But the Blue Jays showed they weren’t dead yet, Schaack finished off her hat trick and then Larissa Wiest forced overtime.

Overtime didn’t last long as Pritchert’s goal came nearly as soon as the puck was dropped. Schaack’s pass hit her in stride and Pritchert put it pass the Knightrider goalie.

Carris Finck stopped 33 of 38 shots in the win. Jamestown improves to 6-1 on the season and remain in good standing in the muddled state standings.

The Jays will host Devils Lake tomorrow night and that game will be on 103.1 the Raven with the puck dropping at 7pm.
