(NewsDakota.com)  The Carrington Girls Basketball team was in action on Friday, December 14th against District Five opponent the Ellendale Cardinals.  Carrington came out on top 55-43.  Carrington improves to 1-0, Ellendale falls to 0-1. 

Carrington was led by Junior forward Kayla Hochhalter with 16 points, followed by Nikki Braaten with 11. 

Ellendale was led by Shayna Mertz with 19.
