(NewsDakota.com)  The Carrington Wrestlers were in action today for the 2013 Storhaug Invitational Tournament in Lisbon.  21 teams participated, there were over 430 total bouts.  Carrington had one champion and two runner-ups.  Sr. Cordell Schroeder, 28-1, took the championship at 285 and also won outstanding wrestler.  At 126, Sophomore Chaz Bauer, 20-7, took second place.  At 106, Sr. Lucas Brown, 22-2, took second place as well.  Here are the individual results for Carrington wrestlers.

106 CHAMPIONSHIP:

REGION 2 MATCHUP – #2 seed Jr. Austin Rust, 17-1, of Central Cass defeated #1 seed Lucas Brown of Carrington, 6-4 in overtime.

126 CHAMPIONSHIP:

Sr. Blake Bosch, 25-0, of South Border defeated Chaz Bauer of Carrington, TF 17-2.

132:

Fr. Walker Carr, 22-4, took third 

138:

Jr. Patrick Freeman, 17-10, took fourth

145:

Fr. Billy Holtan, 20-11, took sixth

152:

Fr. Riley Lura, 17-14, took sixth

285 CHAMPIONSHIP:

#1 seed Cordell Schroeder of Carrington defeated #2 seed Sr. Steven Horner, 20-6, of Valley City, pin 1:47.

5th place:  8th grader Bradee Schroeder, 16-6, of Carrington defeated Jr. Dylan Claus of Lisbon, 15-8, Decision 5-0.
