(NewsDakota.com) The 2013 Class B District 1 Girls Basketball Tournament is set for February 28 thru March 4.

First round play will be played in Lisbon and Fairmount on Thursday night, as the #1 seeded Broncos host the #8 seed Cadets of Sargent Central, and the #4 seeded Rebels of F-C-T welcome the #5 seed North Sargent Bobcats. On Friday night, the second pair of first round games will be held in Oakes and Milnor; with the #3 seeded Tornadoes hosting the #6 seeded Hankinson Pirates and #2 Milnor playing #7 Wyndmere/Lidgerwood. All first round games are 7 p.m. starts.

The tournament moves to Oakes for rounds two and three on Saturday and Monday respectfully. Saturday’s quadruple-header starts at 3, while Monday’s triple-header will commence at 4:30.

All Oakes games can be heard on KDDR 1220 AM/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com starting  with Friday night’s game against Hankinson with pregame at 6:45 p.m.
