The Region 1 champion advances to the Class B State Tournament running March 7-9 in Minot.

Oak Grove and Central Cass are heavily favored in their first-round games as the top two seeds from District 2, but it will be a lot tougher for the top two seeds from District 1. Maple Valley and Enderlin both already have wins this season over their first-round opponents, Lidgerwood-Wyndmere and Milnor – the top two teams from District 1.
