CITY (NewsDakota.com) – Five Vikings and five Jimmies were named to the A.I.I. All Conference Basketball Teams released on Tuesday.

Valley City State University’s Sekani Milligen was named the A.I.I. Player of the Year while Jamestown College women’s coach Greg Ulland was named Coach of the Year.

Joining Milligen on the men’s A.I.I. All-Conference first team was teammate Gus Kueber, along with Mark Hoge and Davon Thomas of Jamestown College, Dramell Hogan and Drew Maynard of Rochester College, Luke Lamb and John Lamb of Dakota State, DeAndre Lowery of Ashford University and Austin Emerson of Mayville State.

Named to the all-conference second team were Tyrone Gordon and Yusuf Vinson of Dakota State, Rodney Coles and Brandon Jones of Northern New Mexico, Vesteinn Sveinsson of Ashford, Ryan McCorkle of Fisher, Bennett Shaw of La Sierra, John Raquel of Valley City State, Darius Foster of Wilberforce and Steven Ivory of Mayville State.

Dakota State coach Gary Garner was named the Men’s Coach of the Year.

On the women’s side, Mayville State’s Marcisa McMillan was named the Player of the Year.

Joining McMillan on the A.I.I. All-Conference first team were teammate Hailey Longtin, along with Hannah Steele and Bridget Schuneman of Jamestown College, Samantha Neal and Caitlin Durkin of Johnson and Wales, Natalie Hawthorne of La Sierra, Megan Holland of Indiana Northwest, Sam Tomaschko of Rochester and Brittany Lehner of Valley City State.

Named to the all-conference second team were Quinn Rear, Gaby Ayon and Madison Wagner of Ashford, Kylie Westover of Dakota State, Porsha Grayson of Fisher, Carly Jensen of Jamestown, Kristen Ward of Johnson & Wales, Sabrina Rude of Mayville State, Travana Johnson of Northern New Mexico, and Katie Ralston of Valley City State.
