CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Marv and the Moonlighters will provide music for your dancing and listening pleasure at this year’s 76th annual North Dakota Winter Show Senior Dance Day.
The leader of the Mandan-Bismarck group, Marv Zander has been entertaining folks for over 40 years. He placed 1st in the KBRM Radio accordion contest and has given accordion lessons and demonstrations to many. Marv has had the pleasure of dueling with Myron Floren and Frank Yankovic and entertained on a Caribbean Cruise.
Randy Karr, plays guitar in the band and has been doing so for the past 4 years. He started playing and singing in high school and has entertained in many nightclubs.
Blaine Schell started playing drums at the age of 13 and has been playing with Marv and the Moonlighters for 8 years. He enjoys music so much, but if it becomes a job, “I quit”.
The group will perform at the Valley City Eagles Club 10am to 3pm March, 6. Admission is only $5.
